Payne's Grey is a dark blue-grey shade used to darken colours without washing them out. It was createve by William Payne, a watercolour artist from the 18th century. It is often made using a blend of burnt sienna and a neutral blue (usually ultramarine), but this version is made by using natural indigo. It is a stunning deep dark blue-grey that will add depth to whatever you use it for!

(Please note some pans may be mislabelled as "indigo payne's" instead of "payne's indigo". Hand written pans sometimes come with mistakes!)

This listing is for one FULL PAN of Wanderlust Watercolour's recipe for Payne's Grey.
